Ride
Along is a comedy revolving around a security guard played by Kevin Hart who
wants to show his girlfriend’s brother a Police Officer played by Ice Cube that
he is worthy of his sister. What starts off as Ice Cube setting Hart up for all
the annoying jobs soon becomes serious and Hart is dropped into the deep end.
This
film has plenty of action but more at a comedic level. I was really impressed
by Kevin Hart’s acting skills in this film and it was no surprise that he was
hilarious throughout. Whilst I enjoyed the film I won’t be watching it again
anytime soon as its unfortunately one of those films you only watch once.
Overall
I would rate this film 3.5 out of 5.
