Film Review of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey (2012)

The Hobbit has to be one of the best films of 2012. It has brought Martin Freeman along way since 'the Office' days and has given him his first major leading role on the big screen. The journey begins in the quiet village known as 'The Shire' with an are of innocence and naivety Bilbo begins his life changing adventure, which has many twists and turns along the way.

Teamed up with a group of dwarves the quest to reclaim the lonely mountain sees epic battles, a great storyline, breathtaking landscape, and leaves you with a feeling of wanting more! Peter Jackson has hit another home run with this film and is a vast improvement visually from his last trilogy. It’s a must see!!

Overall I would rate this film 4.5 out of 5
