Another one of Martin Scorsese’s
masterpieces starring Leonardo DiCaprio as Teddy Daniels, a U.S. Marshal who
has been sent to Shutter Island, a home for the criminally insane. He is there
with his partner Chuck Aule (Mark Ruffalo) to investigate the disappearance of
the patients.
The film is based on Dennis Lehane’s novel
of the same name and Scorsese does an amazing job of bringing the story to life
through his clever direction of each event, which twists and turns the film’s
plot.
This is definitely a movie to be watched
twice to understand the incredible story that will blow your mind.
Overall I would rate this film 4.5 out of 5
