Lone
Survivor is based around one character ‘Marcus Luttrell played by Mark
Wahlberg. 4 navy seals are on a mission to kill a Taliban leader ‘Ahmad Shah’
what was supposed to be a straightforward mission soon turned into a disaster
when they were found in the mountains by goat herders who they chose to let go
instead of sacfricing them for the mission. This meant they had to engage the Taliban
and were soon outnumbered and hunted.
It
is a film full of action and courage and emphasises the brotherhood within the
troops and their willingness to sacrifice themselves for each other. A
fantastic film with a gripping storyline that tells the compelling story of
what only a small percentage of the world experiences.

would rate this film 4.5 out of 5.
